
With augmented reality (AR) browser Layar going mainstream this February, 70 countries getting involved and 1200 layers developed currently (in addition to 375 currently published ones), Layar-based apps look like the next big thing, which is already here.
One of them is the canon-layer, providing real-time information on canonic locations in the Netherlands. The application is linked to the Entoen.nu map and implemented by Muzar.
